Meet the Team - Zoê Martin

Zoê Martin also known as Zoobs

Zoê has been working for us for over 2 years now and has worked in racing since the age of 16 so she has loads of experience when it comes to working with racehorses. She spent 5 years working for David Pipe and 2 years across the water working for Joseph O’Brien. Zoê is now studying to be a primary teacher at uni in Edinburgh and regularly rides out or goes racing on her days off.

1) Favourite horse in the yard? Ard Chros - he can be quirky but he is a gentle giant

2) Most enjoyable moment in racing? Big Occasion winning the Midlands National. I looked after him when I worked for David Pipe

5) Fascinating fact about yourself? I still sleep with a sooky

7) What super power would you want and why? Invisibility so I can spy and see what everyone’s doing

8) Work pet peeve? Sam Coltherd - he’s always on the wind up and can be very annoying

9) Favourite thing about working here? Its like having a second family

10) What would you do if you won the lottery? build a nice house and go on a 5 star holiday
